Yeshua’s kingdom: Time/season or era (part 4 Conciliation-Conclusion)

Bible Texts (Concordant Version of the Old Testament and Concordant Literal New Testament with keywords Concordance-CLNT: 2 Corinthians 5:18-21

18 Yet all is of God, Who conciliates us to Himself through Christ, and is giving us the dispensation of the conciliation,

19 how that God was in Christ, conciliating the world to Himself, not reckoning their offenses to them, and placing in us the word of the conciliation.

20 For Christ, then, are we ambassadors, as of God entreating through us. We are beseeching for Christ's sake, "Be conciliated to God!"

21 For the One not knowing sin, He makes to be a sin offering for our sakes that we may be becoming God's righteousness in Him.

Last week’s blog discussed why all is of God. Please, read last week’s blog if you have not. The message there results to the rest verses of 2 Corinthians 5:18 through 21.

Since all is of God, that means no human has control over the affairs of this world. To explain why this is so, I would like to call your attention to Romans 8:20-21. Paul tells us that the creation of this world was subjected to vanity. Not because the world voluntarily subjects itself to this situation, but because of Him Who subjects it, in expectation that the creation itself, also, shall be freed from the slavery of corruption into the glorious freedom of the children of God. It confirms that efforts of humans to make things right may only result to a little or no success because God has subjected the creations in this world to nothingness. I would like to discuss more on this in another time.

Now that it is established that this world was set up to fail by Yahweh from the outset, he would conciliate it to himself in the long run. In King James Version and New International Version, the word you see reads “reconciliation”. This word is not correct because it implicates that the efforts of the creations in this world and Yahweh are required to make amendments to enable them to be on the same page. Concordant version helps us to truly understand that since Yahweh is the one that subjects this world to imperfection, he would make things right at the appointed time.

Yahweh is the one that conciliates the creations of this world to himself through Christ. Yeshua’s completion work of salvation paved the way for Yahweh to conciliate this world to himself. Thus, Yahweh looks at humans through Christ. He does not reckon our sins on us anymore. John 19:30 signifies the importance of the atonement Christ brought to humans when he said that “it is finished”. Finish means no further work is required of humans but to belief the work done on our behalf.

Where do true believers of Christ Yeshua come in?

First of all, there many believers but those who have faith that Yeshua is the savior of all humans especially of those who believe this work are the true believers. They understand that the work of salvation does not require their efforts, commitments and activities. However, they are given faith by Yahweh to believe the work of salvation through Christ. This is called faith of Christ not faith in Christ. Faith of Christ makes the difference. It is given to humanity by Yahweh. It is not earned by human’s efforts.

This is why Yahweh has given us the dispensation of conciliation. The true believers understand this. They represent Christ on earth by sharing this truth. As simple this gospel is, it is not accepted by majority of people. Yahweh knows this would happen. However, while we represent him and keep informing people to conciliate with Yahweh through Christ, Yahweh brings whoever he had written in the book of Lambkin into this faith.

What do I mean?

The book of Unveiling of Christ (Revelation 13:8) revealed to us that Yahweh has people that their names had been written in the scroll of Lambkin that was slain before the existence of this world. This implies that those who Yahweh gives faith of the work of salvation through Yeshua had been written in Yahweh’s scroll of Lambkin before this world exists. We are not living in this world by accident. Yahweh had programmed this world to be subject to vanity before all creations were made. He is following his plans step by steps. The work of salvation Yahweh fulfilled through Christ is neither proactive nor reactive. It is the fulfilment of plans as orchestrated by Yahweh before this world was created.

So, now, if you see people engaging in making effort to get it right with Yahweh, it is commendable but it is human’s unnecessary activities of justifying self-contribution to the work of salvation through Christ. Paul said that this results to boast from humans (Ephesians 2:8-9). Now, being the ambassadors of Christ, our job is to keep beseeching people to conciliate with Yahweh. It means we are beseeching people to realize the work of salvation through Christ Yeshua. However, we understand that it takes faith of Christ for you to come to this understanding. It is not by our persuasions or preaching. Therefore, we are not canvasing punishment for not accepting our gospel. We are not enforcing you to believe our gospel. We believe humans do not have control over this but Yahweh because only him has freewill on every situation. Humans wills are not free because they are subject to Yahweh’s wills. So, if Yahweh wills that nobody perishes (2 Peter 3:9), why should anyone misunderstand this by designating a portion of will to people to be saved? Think about this. Most people misunderstanding this bible verse. They apportion the will to accept Yeshua to humans as if they can control their decisions whereas Yeshua says nobody can come to him except through his father (John 6:44). So, it is the father that gives humans faith to accept Christ Yeshua. This makes the gospel of Peter and the 11 disciples different from the gospel given to Paul. It is Yahweh that makes people repent of their sins and bring them to Christ. Once again, we understand that Yahweh works things in accordance to the counsel of his will (Ephesians 1:11). This will be discussed in another time soon. Every bit of things matter to God because he controls everything to achieve his overall goals. Genesis to Revelation reveal this.

We understand that at the appointed time, the whole world will come to realize this truth that God is in control of the world affairs. He knows those who will understand this truth in this eon. He knows when all will eventually come to understand this truth. So, Yahweh is at peace with everyone. He is not going to lose anyone in the long run because nothing shall separate us (humans) from love of God in Christ (Romans 8:35-39). People’s personal feelings, biases, religion’s conventions and accepted traditions will not change Yahweh’s mind, plan and his revealed words shared with you this week.

You may be wondering how long will this be. Yahweh informed Isaiah (Isaiah 6:8-11) that people will not hear, see or understand until his plan is fulfilled. So, Isaiah could not influence anything on this issue. He could not make people to repent to do good either. He only had to deliver the message God sent him. Nothing can change Yahweh’s written plans for this world. He subjects it to vanity that he may free it from this bondage at the right time of the season/era. God is the subjector (El). He cannot be subjected by anyone.

In conclusion, it may appear this gospel is not conventional. It is not the way you were told in places of worship. I can understand this. Nothing brings peace to humanity but the truth that God is not reckoning sins on you. God is not angry with you. He loves you unconditionally. He will eventually conciliate this world to himself. This effort is not your initiative. He delegates his ambassadors to speak this gospel but he works through them. This is the real good news. No catch. No hitch. No clause. No grey area. No condition is attached. This work is fully done for humanity. All you need to do is to believe it. If you do not; you will, in the long run (Philippians 2:11). All this will happen at the right time of the season.

I hope this week’s message blesses you.

  1. Yahweh had programmed everything before they happened. This includes the salvation of humanity through Christ Yeshua. You are in the loop of his plans. This world is subjected to vanity. You can't change that. He will eventually conciliate this world to himself through Christ Yeshua. That's the good news. Everyone will believe this message in the long run.

  2. 1. Does this take away the free will of man? over and over again, I see in the scripture where we were told to choose.

For example: “But if serving the Lord seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your ancestors served beyond the Euphrates, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you are living. But as for me and my household, we will serve the Lord.””
    ‭‭Joshua‬ ‭24‬:‭15‬ ‭NIV

    2. If God has ultimately made the choice for the world to be damned, why the call to repentance by the prophets from time to time and eventually Christ Jesus. Why was Jesus going about teaching about the Kingdom of God and His ultimate sacrifice by crucifixion?

    3. “All you need to do is believe it”. Isn’t that a choice- free will?

    1. To answer your question 2. God did not make a choice. He planned the world to be subject to vanity. There is a fine line in this. Please, do not put Yahweh in human's perspective. He is not human (in absolute sense), but he can act like them (in relative sense). He had planned all that happened before the world was created. Yahweh is neither proactive nor reactive. He does not provide Yeshua to atone for sins in case the world sins. He did not look for solution to the sins the world had committed either. Please, Yahweh is not like us. This is very deep. Not many bible speakers understand this to this extent. This is true. Not a brag. Isaiah 46:10 says God tells the end from the beginning. This does not prophesying what the end would be but telling what must be in the end from the beginning. He also tells what is yet to happen. He let people know that he would fulfil his desire. That is what he wants. This is not a choice but his desire. God has written all in his scroll. He knows what comes next. When the fullness of time came, he sent his son to die for the world's sin...(Galatians 4:4-7). This shows there is time for everything in the plan of God for this world. Yeshua made announcement of what to come in the future in this world. He had to do it for record purpose. Isaiah 53 talked about Yeshua as the Lambkin of God. Isaiah 45 talked about King Darius. Daniel 9:26 implies that Yeshua would be cut-off without any adjudication. All these few scriptures are the secrets Yahweh through his spirit revealed to his prophets. They could not have been changed by any human's actions. They eventually came to pass. So, Yeshua played his role as planned by his father. If the Pharisees understood Yeshua's messages, do you think he would have been crucified by them (Matthew 13:10-15). No chance! I will respond to your 3rd question shortly.

    2. To respond to your 3rd question, the ability to believe is not in humans. Faith comes from hearing the world of God. The spirit of God gives you faith to believe the work of salvation done for humanity. However, there are measures of faith (Romans 12:3). This faith is not earned by humans. It is given by Yahweh as one of his spiritual fruits (Galatians 5:22). This is not a spiritual gift but one of the spiritual fruits. This is beyond human's comprehension because it is Yahweh's desire to give whoever he pleases. However, not everyone will have this faith in this current eon but in the long run, all would have it as found in Philippians 2:11. 1 Corinthians 15:23 says all will believe this in their won class. Christ being the first fruit while others will follow as they also believe. I hope these have helped you understand why there are 2 kinds of gospel. Paul's gospel shows grace through faith while the 12 disciples messages had to do with faith and human activities.

    3. To answer question 1, Joshua delivered his last speech to the household of Israel. He reminded them of How Yahweh had been good to them. He gave them choices to make on who to serve. His promise to serve God was noble. This is human nature. We like to reciprocate good for good. In that same Joshua 24, the Elders of Israel and the congregation also promised to serve God just as Joshua. Once Joshua died, did they fulfill their promises? The answer is no. See the few chapters that begin the books of Judges. They broke their promises. There is no power in humans to keep promises. Zech 4:6 tells not that it is not by might or by power but by the Spirit of Yahweh. Peter wanted to keep his promise not to deny Christ but he eventually broke it. The Israelites told Moses that whatever God tells them, they would do (Exodus 19:8). Well, did they keep their promises? No. Romans 10:3 tells not that no one is seeking out God. No one is understanding. All these cannot be done by our 5 senses (absolute sense) but by the Spirit of Yahweh. Yeshua said in John 6:44 that no one can come to him if his father did not bring such to him. So, you see that human's activities amount to nothing if it is not in the will of Yahweh? That is what this week's message focus on.
