Yeshua’s kingdom: Time/season or era (part 3 all is of God)

Bible Texts (Concordant Version of the Old Testament and Concordant Literal New Testament with keywords Concordance-CLNT: 2 Corinthians 5:17-21

17 So that, if anyone is in Christ, there is a new creation: the primitive passed by. Lo! there has come new!

18 Yet all is of God, Who conciliates us to Himself through Christ, and is giving us the dispensation of the conciliation,

19 how that God was in Christ, conciliating the world to Himself, not reckoning their offenses to them, and placing in us the word of the conciliation.

20 For Christ, then, are we ambassadors, as of God entreating through us. We are beseeching for Christ's sake, "Be conciliated to God!"

21 For the One not knowing sin, He makes to be a sin offering for our sakes that we may be becoming God's righteousness in Him.

For the past 2 weeks, you have learnt about the time and season/era this world is currently in. The past two-week’s messages have explained to you about how time and seasons work in the plan of Yahweh for humanity. There is time and season for everything. The 12 disciples of Yeshua had to be reminded of the promise of the Father (Yahweh) regarding the Holy Spirit that would work through them to dispatch the message of salvation to the rest of the world. Up till now, the kingdom of Yeshua has not been fully manifested. The season has come but the time has not come.

One thing we should understand this week is that Yahweh is timeless but he created times and seasons/eras. Therefore, both seasons and times work for him to carry out his plans. The understanding of the work of Yahweh on humanity would help people to be at rest in the midst of turbulent world.

Brief explanation of 2 Corinthians 5:17

2 Corinthians 5:17 may be familiar to you but in this week’s blog, it would be explained in another way. If anyone is in Christ, such a person is a new creation. This does not imply that the person had gone back into his mother’s womb to be reborn. It does not also imply the popular term, “being born again”. It means when the faith is given by Yahweh to you to understand the work of salvation through Christ Yeshua. This faith will help to transform your mind. This is the moment you will come to believe in Christ. This is when you truly realize the work of salvation of God through Christ. Your spirit will awake to this truth. Your soul will be connected to this truth. Your thinking will become different from the conventional believe. There will be a shift in your spirit from what you used to know. You will have spiritual awareness of Yahweh’s will and purpose for humanity through Christ.

Your body may not manifest any difference but it will begin to experience priceless and unquantifiable peace of mind. You will feel no obligation to do anything once you have come to believe the work of salvation Yahweh has done through Christ Yeshua than to believe it. This is when you will understand 1 Timothy 4:10 that Yeshua is the savior of all mankind especially of believers. You will be experiencing freedom from religion entanglements and deceits. The scriptures will be making more sense to you as you see Yahweh at work since the inception of this world up till now.

Having discussed verse 17 of 2 Corinthians chapter 5, the next step is in verse 18. This verse is divided into three. I will discuss only one this week. “Yet, all is of God…”

The word, “yet” in this verse indicates that all events that have been happening before the creation of this world up till now and all that will happen later are of God. It means all events that you may think of in each season of this world are of God (Yahweh) the maker of Heavens and Earth. It also means despite all you may think or say, all that is happening is of God. If this is not so, why does Yahweh let both good and bad things to happen on earth? Why should this world be continuously experiencing more evil than good? Please, ponder with me on this verse. I must let you know that this verse is also in absolute sense. It means all that happens are beyond our 5 senses to comprehend. Some atheists dislike Yahweh for this but they cannot withstand the will of God (Romans 9:19). You cannot talk back to him (Romans 9:20).

Yet, all is of God. This is why God is the creator of darkness and light, good and evil (Isaiah 45:7). He made all these to carry out his plan and purpose. Nothing can stop his plan, will and purpose for humanity (Isaiah 46:10). He created all things according to his pleasure…(Revelation 4:11). God did not make this world for you but for himself. Let all the earth fear Yahweh; Let all those dwelling in the habitance revere Him. For He spoke, and it came to be; He enjoined, and it stood firm (Psalm 33:8-9). He is the true Landlord (Psalm 24:1).

So, if I tell you that we are in the season of harvest, believe me that the time the harvest will happen is drawing nearer day by day. Things are lining up on earth for this time to occur. The new temple is almost completed in Yerusalem. Some religious people are rejoicing at this temple, not knowing what is coming to them soon. The world is getting to unveil the Vicar of Christ, issue out mark of allegiance to Vicar of Christ, appoint 10 kings without kingdoms, unite all religions and shut the mouth of the righteous people. Control the economy more than ever and create all sorts of unrest in this world.

Before this harvest comes, Yahweh has one more thing to do. He needs to remove his representatives (ambassadors) from this world first. Hmn! I will continue with this next week.

Please, read this blog over and over. Be sure to read the subsequent ones from next week.

Grace and Peace!

  3. I'm looking forward to next week read, for the concluding portion of 2Corinthians 5:18.

I have often understood 2Corinthians 5:17 from a different point of view, not from the perspective of times, seasons, or religion entanglement. But from - the newness of life in Christ Jesus. A life completing different from the ways of this world, and birthed from becoming like Christ Jesus daily - in character, spirit and truth (a new life).

However, I enjoyed this new perspective too and I would love to read the concluding part for a robust understanding this interpretation.
