He was as humbled as a Lambkin...

Yeshua, the ultimate atonement of the world’s sins (part 2)

Bible Texts (Concordant Version of the Old Testament and Concordant Literal New Testament with keywords Concordance-CLNT: Colossians 1:12-20; Isaiah 53:4-10

Isaiah 53:4-10

4 Surely He Himself bears our illnesses, And our pains, He is burdened with them; As for us, we account Him assaulted, Smitten of Elohim and humbled.
5 Yet He is wounded because of our transgressions, And crushed because of our depravities. The discipline of our well-being is on Him, And with His welts comes healing for us.
6 All of us, like a flock, we stray; Each to his own way, we turn around, Yet Yahweh Himself causes to come upon Him. the depravity of us all.
7 Hard pressed is He, and He is humbled, Yet He is not opening His mouth; Like a flocking to slaughter is He fetched, And as a ewe before her shearers is mute, He is not opening His mouth.
8 From restraint and from judgment He is taken, And on His generation, who is meditating? For He is severed from the land of the living; Because of the transgression of My people, He is led to death.
9 And they appoint His tomb with the wicked, With the rich His sepulcher, Although He does no wrong, And no deceit is in His mouth.
10 Yet Yahweh, He desires to crush Him, And He causes Him to be wounded. Should His soul place a guilt offering, He shall see a seed, He shall lengthen days, And the desire of Yahweh, it shall prosper in His hand.

Colossians 1:12-20

2 at the same time giving thanks to the Father, Who makes you competent for a part of the allotment of the saints, in light,
13 Who rescues us out of the jurisdiction of Darkness, and transports us into the kingdom of the Son of His love,
14 in Whom we are having the deliverance, the pardon of sins,
15 Who is the Image of the invisible God, Firstborn of every creature,
16 for in Him is all created, that in the heavens and that on the earth, the visible and the invisible, whether thrones, or lordships, or sovereignties, or authorities, all is created through Him and for Him,
17 and He is before all, and all has its cohesion in Him.
18 And He is the Head of the body, the ecclesia, Who is Sovereign, Firstborn from among the dead, that in all He may be becoming first,
19 for in Him the entire complement delights to dwell,
20 and through Him to reconcile all to Him (making peace through the blood of His cross), through Him, whether those on the earth or those in the heavens.

By this time, you may be wandering how did Yahweh execute his plans. This week hopes to conclude Yahweh’s plans of atonement for the sins of humanity. You would want to know why the sacrifice Yeshua made was once and for all does not require further sacrifice. I would explain this briefly in this week’s blog.

Have you ever seen how grape juice is processed? After grapes are ripe, farmers harvest them. Then, they are plucked from their stems, washed and crushed. Crushing is the most harmful part of the process. Grape juice cannot be completed without crushing. This is how Yahweh crushed Yeshua, his son. He stripped him of his glory. He made sure he was not born in the house of rich parents. He made sure the son was taken away from those who wanted to murder him. As a matter of fact, a lot of babies were murdered by King Herod (Matthew 2:16-18) to preserve him from his haters. He could have prevented this incidence but he let it happen. He let this poor boy suffered unnecessary relocation. It is just like when you see a son of a very rich man becoming homeless without offending his father. That is a serious issue. What a kind of crushing!

He was crushed like ripe grapes and it pleased Yahweh to see this...

He grew up in the foreign land until all his haters were dead. He was brought into a remote village in Judea to avoid possible haters who might still be looking to murder him. He learnt obedience from his parents. He learnt carpentry from his step-father. He lost his step-father along the line. He became a young man ready for his divine task. He was baptized by his cousin. His cousin knew this young man as a special and highly esteemed being and should not have come for baptism. So, he hesitated not to baptize him. However, this young man was humble enough to be baptized by his cousin. He travelled far and near from his home town for 3 years and 6 months with the message of the Kingdom of his father (Yahweh). He went about doing good because the spirit of Yahweh was operating in him (Acts 10:38 paraphrased).

He borne the diseases, sicknesses, curses and needs of people. He was blamed for things he did not do. He became subject of ridicule to many people (Isaiah 53). He fed thousands of people yet he had no dime in his personal treasury (John 6:1-13).  He hid himself from being crowned as the king of Jew because it was not yet his time (John 6:15). He avoided people’s praise because he was not the man for people but the man of the people. He called himself the son of man when he practically knew that he was the son of God. Such a humble man in his Jew’s body suit! He made many people happy when he suffered silently.

He even made Judas Iscariot who happened to be a thief to be his treasurer (John 13:29). He chose some fishermen to be his disciples (Mark 1:16-17). He chose tax collector (Matthew 9:9) among others to walk with him. He had no chariot yet he was capable of acquiring 6 horses’ chariot for himself and at least one chariot for each of his disciples. He walked long distances on feet in most of his days under scorching sun and heavy winds. He walked on water and water suspended the law of gravity under his feet. This man began to hide from his haters until Yahweh’s appointed time for him to be crucified. He was cheaply arrested (John 18:1-11 and Mark 14:5) with the help of the one he trusted to his treasury. His most trusted disciple betrayed him (Matthew 26:71-75).

Do you think he could not have talked himself out of this ordeal when he faced the Sanhedrin (Matthew 26:57-68 and Pilate (Matthew chapter 27:11-14)? Of course, but just like Isaiah 53 said, he was mute the way a sheep would be in the present of his shearers. He was humbled to the point of crucifixion (Philippians chapter 2). Yahweh could not bear to look at the agony and the crushing of his son on the pole (Matthew 27:45) as darkness filled the place of crucifixion for 3 hours! It was a sad day in the heavens. It was a necessary evil day in the plan of Yahweh through his son for humanity.

He could have talked himself out of accusations but he barely spoke...

Such a crushing from Yahweh depicts that it pleased Yahweh that his only begotten son went through all these to fulfil his plan of atonement for the sins of the humanity (Isaiah 53:4). I do not think any Angel/Messenger could have endure this huge task.

His sacrifice was done once for all (Hebrew 7:27). There is no need for further sacrifice and atonement. This is why his blood is pure, innocent and perfect for atonement of sins. His blood still keeps washing us from all our sins (1 John 1:7). When Yahweh told Moses in Exodus chapter 12:13 that he would pass over them whenever he sees the blood of the lambkin on their door posts, it depicts the blood of his son would not only be shed to atone for the sins of humanity but to also protect people from disasters. So, when he sees the blood of his son on humanity, he shows mercy and grace on them.

What else does his blood do?

Apart from atonement of sins, it removes curses, death, sicknesses, diseases and all other spiritual entanglements. His blood is not a thing of joke to Yahweh. Satan and his folks dread his blood. Do you now understand the importance of this precious blood? Blood is power. It is a spiritual currency in spiritual realm. The blood shed by Yeshua is pure, powerful, potent, precious and priceless! We are justified by his blood (Romans 5:9). His blood signifies the forgiveness of our sins (Hebrews 9:22). Would you plead his blood today?

In conclusion, I do not know who both last week and this week’s blogs are for, but they would do whatever Yahweh has for humanity. People need to fully understand the implications of the atonement Yeshua did for them by walking in the light of his undying love and the sacrifice he made for them. What an unmatched Super-Hero! No Super Hero matched him. He is far better than any best you can think of. Oh by the way, he was hung on the tree/pole not on the cross. Cross is satanic but it is subtle for public to accept. I believe you should know this truth. Western theologians love to manipulate the truth.

Wow! Oh, come to the father through Yeshua the son and give him (Yahweh) the glory for the great work of salvation he has done through his dear son. Praise Yah for this precious blood.

Grace and Peace!

He was hung on a tree/pole not on the cross...

  1. Crushing Yeshua was painful but is gainful. Thanks to Yahweh for letting Yeshua go through this for humanity. John1:29 was fulfilled just as many other scriptures.
