Where do people that die go? (part 4)

Texts: Ecclesiastes 9:5-6; Deuteronomy 18:10-12; 1 Samuel 28:11-19

Ecclesiastes 9:5-6

5 For the living know that they shall die, But the dead know nothing whatsoever; There is no further reward for them; Indeed remembrance of them is forgotten.
6 Both their love and their hate as well as their jealousy have perished already, And there is no further portion for them for the eon In all that is done under the sun.

1 Samuel 28:11-19:

11 At that, the woman asked, Whom shall I bring up for you? He replied, Samuel, bring him up for me.
12 When the woman saw Samuel, she cried out with a loud voice. And the woman spoke to Saul, saying, Why have you deceived me? You are Saul!
13 The king said to her, Do not fear. What do you see? The woman replied to Saul, I see Elohim coming up from the earth.
14 He asked her, What is his shape? She answered, An erect man is coming up, and he is muffled in a robe. Then Saul knew that it was Samuel; so he bowed his head low, nostrils to the earth, and prostrated himself.
15 Samuel said to Saul, Why have you disturbed me by bringing me up? Saul replied, Utter distress is mine. The Philistines are fighting against me, and Elohim has withdrawn from me and does not answer me any longer, either by means of the prophets or in dreams. So I did call on you to let me know what I should do.
16 Samuel said, Why are you asking me when Yahweh has withdrawn from you and is with your associate?
17 Yahweh is doing to you just as He spoke by means of me. Yahweh is tearing the kingship from your hand and is giving it to your associate, to David,
18 inasmuch as you did not hearken to the voice of Yahweh and did not execute the heat of His anger on Amalek. Therefore Yahweh does this thing to you this day.
19 Yahweh shall also give Israel with you into the hand of the Philistines. Tomorrow you and your sons with you shall fall. Indeed Yahweh shall give the army camp of Israel into the hand of the Philistines.

In this particular scripture, these are the truth you should hold to your heart this week:

The summary of this week’s blog is that Yahweh operated in both relative sense and absolute sense. Relative sense is what you and I can relate with while absolute sense is what is beyond human capacity. Elohim Yahweh spoke through Prophet Samuel and acted as if he was Prophet Samuel. Please, take time to read this week’s blog with opened mind to grasp this message.

Ø Yahweh shows us that truly, some Satanic people can use their powers to speak with the dead. These Satanic people are aware that those who die do not speak with the dead because they are resting. This is why Samuel asked King Saul why was he being disturbed from his rest. People with dark powers are aware that the dead have no business with the living anymore but they can call the dead back to life to inquire them of anything required of them.  Remember that those who die are sleeping (John11:11). The way you may feel bad when someone wakes you up from your sleep was the same way Samuel felt while he was awake from his sleep (death). King Saul disturbed Samuel from his sleep because he needed solution to his predicament. He wanted know how to defeat the Philistines.

Ø Through dark power, the wizard was able to wake the sleeping Samuel up from his stillness (1 Samuel 28:11-19).  She simply used her evil power to call out the soul of Samuel. This was not ordinary. This was necromancy forbidden in the book of Deuteronomy mentioned above.

Ø Please, do not get it twisted. It was not Prophet Samuel’s spirit. His spirit had gone back to Yahweh who made him.

Ø Who spoke through Samuel to Saul? That was the spirit of Yahweh. The wizard realized it was Elohim as found in 1 Samuel 28:13. She was scared of what she saw. The spirit of Yahweh discussed with King Saul as if it was Samuel. The dead Samuel would not have been able to do anything since the gift of prophecy had left him when he was already dead. Remember that Ecclesiastes 9:5 tells us that the dead do not remember anything again. Towards the end of his talk, judgement was passed on King Saul. This is what the only living beings can do.

Ø Besides this, the judgement pronounced from Samuel shows that Yahweh finally spoke what he was keeping for King Saul for many years until that day. Yahweh meant to disgrace King Saul with the things King Saul formerly forbade when he began his reign as the first king of Israel (1 Samuel 28:9) “the woman replied to him, now you know what Saul has done, how he has cut off the mediums and the wizards from the land…”.  So, King Saul had to eat his words at this point because of his disobedience to Yahweh’s firm and direct instructions (1 Samuel chapter 15 and 16).

Ø Samuel mentioned one more important thing to King Saul. He said both King Saul and his sons would be with him the following day. It implies King Saul’s death was certain and imminent (1 Samuel 28:19). This further establishes that both good and bad people do not either go to heaven or hell fire when they die. They go to sleep and be in stillness until resurrection day.

Ø After the discussion between Samuel and King Saul, Samuel’s soul went back to sleep.

So, if you see that some people die in a particular part of the world and they are seen in another part of this world, it does not imply that their days have not been fulfilled on earth yet. It does not also mean that they are not allowed to sleep until their days are complete on earth. Understand that there is no one that dies without Yahweh’s knowledge.

Many traditions do not understand this. Satan had blindfolded many people to believe in the tradition that those who die young may be roaming around or found in another part of the world. While these may appear true, they are means to shift people’s focus on the truth that what were posed at them as traditions are blatant lies and illusions.

Scriptures cannot be broken (John 10:35). If you believe in these weeks' scriptures whole heartedly, you would realize that those who die are sleeping. You may only see them in your dreams but they cannot come to speak with you in person (as if they are living) anymore. They are dead, sleeping and are resting until their resurrection day.

Those who die in the Lord would be resurrected according to 1 Thessalonians chapter 4 but those who die in their sins would be resurrected on the white throne judgments according to the unveiling of Yeshua (Jesus Christ) (Revelation) chapter 20. Daniel 12:2 also confirm that those who die will be resurrected.

I hope this has answered most of your questions on this issue.

Look forward for another episode next week by the special grace of Yeshua.

Grace and peace.

  1. The scriptures have to be held to even in the face of everything that points towards enchantments, divinations, traditions and necromancy. The word of Yahweh supersedes all human traditions and believes. Amen.
