He condemns sin in the flesh, that just
requirement of the law may be fulfilled in us who are not walking in accord

Hello, my dear scripture blog readers. I hope you have been
blessed with my previous weekly blogs, especially on this crucial topic under discussion.
I believe by this time; you must have been wondering what I am driving at. As
promised last week, I pray Yahweh (Yahuwah) helps me to break it down briefly for
your understanding. I will only discuss rank #1 this week.
Here we go…
Rank #1: For what was impossible to the law, in which it
was infirm through the flesh, did God, sending his Son in the likeness of sin's
flesh and concerning sin.
In the last week blog, it was established that laws failed
test of sins because people still sin despite the fact that laws exist. Adam
and Eve sinned despite the fact that they were instructed on what not to do
(see it in Genesis chapter 2 and 3). The Israelites sinned despite the Ten Commandments
(Exodus chapter 20 and Deuteronomy chapter 5). If you look around the world,
you will realize that crimes are at alarming rates despite law increments. So,
laws cannot help us to relate with Yahuwah but only get us far from him. This
is why the books of Exodus through Deuteronomy involved human cleansings and
animal sacrifices, but it did not suffice.
These ordinances did not suffice because they mirrored the ultimate
sacrifice Yeshua offered to us on the crucifixion tree to atone for human sins.
Hebrews 10:1-18 discussed that Yeshua had offered himself as a pure sacrifice
for all humanity. Thus, his sacrifice paid for the sins of the world in full.
There is no need for any other sacrifice. There is no need for laws to lord
over humans. Yahuwah in his plan, made his son put on flesh of sin to challenge
and overcome sin for humanity. Romans 5:17-18 points to us that sin entered
into humanity through one man (Adam) but grace and life in abundance came
through the Yeshua. Therefore, if guilt and death came through Adam, forgiveness
(mercy); grace and justification came through the knowledge of Christ’s death
and resurrection. John 19:30 summarized it by saying “it is complete”. What
comes after the completed work? Absolutely nothing.
So, why do people still sin?
This is where you need to understand that we are humans.
There is no perfection in humans. It makes me smile somehow whenever religious
people preach that we must be perfect as our Father (Yahuwah) is perfect
(Matthew 5:48). Yeshua used this sermon to challenge his audience to emulate
what his Father does. He knew human beings would not be able do it because his
Father alone is so wise and patience on his creations to the extent of pouring
rains and making sun shines on them. However, he opened the eyes of his audience
to see the level at which his father operates. So, this becomes a challenge for
us all to try to do what his father does. In short, Yeshua challenges us to be
kind to everyone irrespective of what they do to us. Let us be frank, can you,
do it? Can I do it? This is where the law of Christ comes-in. It is the Spirit
of Yahuwah that works in us to do his biddings (Philippians 2:13).
Wait a minute. What about Philippians 2:12? Paul admonished
us to work out our salvation in fear and trembling. Does that make it our duty
to perform? It is advisory. Does make it your obligation? Humanly speaking,
yes. However, the same Paul stated that it is Yahuwah’s spirit that works in us
to do his biddings. There you go. It is not by flesh we do Yahuwah’s will. No
one can overcome by flesh (1 Samuel 2:9). This is the understanding millions of people lack despite of their deep and unquantifiable knowledge. They always learn but do not understand. Have you now seen why many people
struggle with sinning? Have you now seen why laws flex its muscles on humanity?
Hmn…there is more to this issue.
After all Christ had done, we still sin. Today we sin and
ask for forgiveness. Tomorrow, we do the same. Hmn…maybe you tried not to sin
for a moment but later you did!
What could have possibly gone wrong!?
Please, wait for next week blog to discuss more on this
topic.
